I am a psychologist and a psychotherapist in training.
Human beings and their nature have been at the center of my interests for as long as I can remember. Therefore, when it came to making one of my first adult choices, I decided to study psychology. I graduated from the Warsaw University and shortly afterwards deepened my knowledge of supporting people's growth at the Intra Center for Education and Psychological Help, in the School of Psychological Training and Workshop. Currently, I am in the final year of a 4-year training program at the Institute of Integrative Gestalt Psychotherapy, a center accredited by both the European Association of Gestalt Therapy and the Polish Psychological Society.
I gained experience at the Mental Health Psychotherapy Center, the Clinical Psychiatric Unit of Wolski Hospital and the Luxmed 'Harmonia' Mental Health Center.
In my free time, I volunteer at a foundation that organizes meditation courses, I enjoy listening to podcasts, practicing yoga, and running. I like to relax in nature, in the company of people I care about.
I practice Gestalt therapy, which has its roots in existentialism. This approach emphasizes human freedom, values, the meaning of life, and our responsibility for it.
What does this mean in practice?
I recognize that each person I work with is a unique individual, and I strive to get to know their world with genuine interest. I help them connect with their inner experience in the here and now. For me, it's more important to understand how they experience their difficulties, rather than why they have them. I not only believe but also observe in my work that each of us has the potential to overcome crises. I support individuals in recognizing and removing the blocks that hinder them from leading a fuller life.
I am a member of the Polish Gestalt Psychotherapy Society and adhere to its ethical code. I constantly develop my expertise and regularly submit my work for supervision to a supervisor certified by the European Association of Gestalt Therapy.
I provide psychotherapy for adults who experience, among other things:
- Low mood, sadness, anxiety, apathy
- Difficulties in relationships with others
- Mental health crisis
- Feelings of loneliness or loss
If you want to feel good about yourself and others, change what you can change and accept what you cannot, you have come to the right place.
I work with individuals living in Warsaw in my office. I provide online therapy for those living abroad or in smaller towns with limited access to psychological help.
Research shows that over 80% of people who undergo psychotherapy will experience an improvement in their condition, compared to those who do not participate*. This is a high rate, rarely achieved by many treatment regimens used in medicine, for example
The therapeutic relationship is the healing factor in psychotherapy.
The characteristics of a good therapeutic relationship include: mutual engagement, mutual positive attitude, and agreement on therapeutic goals. On the part of the therapist: the ability to show empathy, understanding, and interest, and on the part of the patient: a willingness to be open and a sense of autonomy.
Such a relationship creates conditions for a corrective emotional experience, a change in self-assessment, one's experiences, one's environment, and a change in behavior.
